Info Refill -March 2026 Edition

Hey refill friends!

If you’re reading this… hi! And also—thank you. 🥹

March is here, which means we’re all crawling out of winter like confused little groundhogs, blinking into the sunlight and pretending the last few months didn’t personally offend us.

But! Spring is on the horizon, the days are getting longer, and we’ve got some fun things coming up at the shop—so let’s get into it.

First things first…

Congratulations to our February $50 gift card winner: Heidi Wise! 🎉
Heidi, you did it. You won the gift card, the glory, and at least several seconds of neighborhood-level fame. We love this journey for you.

A little refillery adventure 🌊🐢

Our Refillery Collective retreat at Playa Viva in Juluchuca, Mexico was absolutely incredible. Honestly, rude of real life to continue after that.

Playa Viva is an eco-friendly, sustainable resort that somehow manages to be luxurious without making your conscience itch, which is a pretty impressive flex. While we were there, we spent time with other refill store owners from across the U.S., brainstorming ways to make refilling and low-waste living feel less “niche crunchy side quest” and more normal, everyday behavior for the average person.

Translation: you may start noticing some exciting changes coming to our little shop soon. 👀

We also got to release baby sea turtles—which, scientifically speaking, is one of the cutest things a person can do—and tour the bio-regenerative farm that helps supply the resort’s food. It was inspiring, eye-opening, and honestly made us want to come home and lovingly bully the world into being more sustainable.

Looking ahead: what’s coming up

We’ve got some really fun stuff on the calendar, and spring is bringing the energy we’ve all been begging for.

🌎 Earth Day Cleanup in Eastwood

Join us for the Eastwood Earth Day Cleanup on Saturday, April 25th from 10:00am–12:00pm, kicking off right here at The Eastwood Refillery!

We’ll gather, clean up the neighborhood, do a little good old-fashioned community care, and then finish things off with an after-party at Luv Handlz.

Because picking up trash with your neighbors and then rewarding yourselves afterward is what we call balance.

🧘♀️ Another Earth Day way to fill your cup

While the Earth Day Cleanup is happening, there’s also another beautiful way to celebrate:

My Cup Refilled: Earth Day Yoga with Chelsea from Collective Self, in collaboration with The Eastwood Refillery, starts at 11:00am.

So if picking up the neighborhood is one way to care for the earth, this is another way to care for your mind, body, and soul. A little movement, a little breathing, a little inner spring cleaning—we love a well-rounded Earth Day moment.

Michelle will be at this event, so be sure to say hello!

🎉 Our 1-Year Store Anniversary

We can hardly believe it, but our one-year anniversary is coming up on April 19th!

That’s right—our little shop is turning one, and emotionally, we are somewhere between “SO PROUD” and “wait… how has it already been a year??”

To celebrate, we’ll be having:

  • Character meet-and-greets for the kids

  • hot drinks from Happy Camper Lattes & Lemonades

  • and some fun giveaways

We’re so grateful for all the love and support you’ve given us during this first year, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you. Stay tuned for more details!

👋 A new face on Fridays (and gratitude for the whole crew)

If you’re in the shop on Fridays, be sure to give a warm hello to Kathryn Grener Argiro!

We’re so happy to have Kathryn helping at the Refillery, and we know you’ll love seeing her friendly face around the shop.

And while we’re at it, we also want to give a big heartfelt thank-you to all of our wonderful helpers: Hannah, Eva, Gracelyn, Nick, and Randi.
It truly takes a village—and ours happens to be full of kind, hardworking, wonderful humans. We appreciate each and every one of them more than we can say (but that won’t stop us from trying anyway).

Upcoming holidays (and refill-friendly reasons to celebrate)

St. Patrick’s Day — March 17

A perfect excuse to “go green” in a way that doesn’t involve pinching anybody. Refill your everyday essentials, stock up on reusables, and give your home a fresh low-waste reset. Bonus points if you show up with something green and dramatically commit to the theme. 🍀

Earth Day — April 22

Basically our Super Bowl. Our Olympics. Our Met Gala. This is the event for eco-minded folks everywhere. If there was ever a time to refill, reuse, reduce waste, and lovingly judge your junk drawer, this is it.

Mother’s Day — May 10

Thoughtful, practical, planet-friendly gifts? Yes please. We’ve got plenty of ideas for celebrating the moms and mother-figures you love—without panic-buying something random at the last second.

Store hours (current)

Monday – Thursday — CLOSED
Friday — 12:00pm–6:00pm
Saturday — 10:00am–6:00pm
Sunday — 12:00pm–5:00pm

We were previously open four days a week, and we’re now shifting to three so we can better balance all the moving parts of small business life while still showing up well for you.

And in case you didn’t know…

We’re at the CNY Regional Market on Saturdays!

Come see us every Saturday from 7:00am–1:00pm in A Shed.
(Weather permitting, because upstate weather remains deeply committed to unpredictability.)

If you’ve been meaning to stop by but haven’t made it to the store yet, this is an easy way to say hi, ask questions, and grab some refill-friendly goodies while you’re already out and about.

FREE local delivery (most of Onondaga County)

Just order at www.eastwoodrefillery.com and enter your zip code at checkout to see if you’re in our delivery zone. Most orders arrive same day or next day, and if you’ve got a special request, let us know. We are helpful and moderately organized.
